Ford Taurus Steering Wheel Size (1986 - 2019)
From 1986 to 1989, the Ford Taurus has a steering wheel size of 15 1/2" x 3" (diameter x grip circumference) (Class A).
In 1989, the Taurus SHO introduced a size of 15" x 3 1/2" (Class AX), which was used through 1993 for the SHO trim.
From 1990 to 1993, the standard Taurus also adopted the 15" x 3 1/2" (Class AX) size.
From 1994 to 1999, the Taurus has a size of 15" x 3 3/4" (Class AXX), while the SHO trim continued with the 15" x 3 1/2" (Class AX).
Between 2000 and 2003, the Taurus retained the 15" x 3 3/4" (Class AXX) size.
From 2004 to 2012, the Taurus transitioned to a 15" x 4" (Class C) size.
In 2013, the size changed briefly to 15" x 3 3/4" (Class AXX) before reverting to 15" x 4" (Class C) from 2014 to 2019.
