From 1983 to 1994, the Mitsubishi Montero has a consistent steering wheel size of 15" x 3 1/2" (diameter x grip circumference) (Class AX).
In 1995, this size changed to 15" x 3 3/4" (Class AXX), including the Sport trim.
This size was retained until 2000, across both regular and Sport trims.
In 2001, a new size of 15" x 4" (Class C) was introduced, continuing through to 2007, again including the Sport trim.
