Volkswagen Jetta Steering Wheel Size (1980 - 2024)
From 1980 to 1984, the Volkswagen Jetta has a steering wheel size of 15 1/2" x 3" (diameter x grip circumference) (Class A).
Between 1985 and 1999, the size was 15" x 3 1/2" (Class AX), followed by a change in 2000 to 15" x 3 3/4" (Class AXX) until 2005.
In 2006, the size adjusted to 14 1/2" x 4", with the GLI trim featuring a larger grip at 14 1/2" x 4 1/2".
This configuration continued through 2010.
From 2011 to 2013, the standard size was 14 3/4" x 4 1/4", with the GLI trim maintaining its previous size of 14 1/2" x 4 1/2".
In 2014, the size reverted to 15" x 4 1/4".
From 2015 onward, the standard size was 14 1/2" x 4 1/4", with the 2023 and 2024 models featuring grip sizes of 14" x 4 5/8" for standard and 14" x 5 1/4" for the GLI trim.
