What measurements matter
Steering wheel size is typically shown as diameter x grip circumference. Diameter is the full width of the wheel from edge to edge. Grip circumference is the thickness around the wheel where your hands rest.
How to measure diameter
Place a measuring tape straight across the center of the steering wheel. Measure from the outside edge on one side to the outside edge on the other side.
How to measure grip circumference
Wrap a flexible sewing tape around the steering wheel grip where you normally hold it. This measurement helps confirm whether a cover will fit snugly.
How to use our vehicle pages
Each model page on SteeringWheelSize.com lists year-by-year steering wheel data. When trim-level or classification details are available, those rows are called out directly in the table so you can compare changes across the production run.
Fitment reminder
Test any steering wheel cover fitment before driving. A loose cover is a safety risk, so confirm the measurement and fit on the wheel itself before normal use.
